Body & Trim is looking for new consultants:

Mechanical Designers

We are looking for you who is a proficient user of Catia V5 with experience in sheet metal and plastic construction. You should have at least a couple of years experience in product development in any of the technical fields involving chassis, exterior, interior or climate through working for any OEM or development supplier along with a proven track record working with the methods and tools used by our customers.

Cabling Designers

We are looking for mechanical or electrical / mechatronics engineers with experience in the design and dimensioning of cables for light and heavy vehicles. You master SABER or similar tools. Knowledge of Catia V5 is preferable.

Calculation and Simulation

We are looking for engineers with several years experience in calculations for consulting assignments in the areas of solids, currents, crash testing and noise & vibration.

EOD , Engineering & Operational Development is looking for new consultants:

Mechanics & Mechatronics:

We currently have a great need for engineers to work with the automotive industry - among others in the areas of chassis, engines and drive lines. We also have a need for engineers to work in offshore and shipping. Applicants should be proficient in CatiaV5, ProE and UG. For some contracts, knowledge of Volvo Cars and/or AB Volvo's internal computer system is an asset.

Quality Control:

(Processes & Products) Quality control and production engineers with experience in quality assurance and control. Typical contracts involve the quality assurance of processes, products or projects. Current industries we work with are the automotive industry (STA & SQA), biotechnology and offshore. Typical contracts usually involve a lot of travel. Desirable skills are i.e. PPAP, APQP, Six Sigma, Lean, and being familiar with relevant standards. When it comes to electricity/electronics, knowledge of CMMI and automotive SPICE is needed.

Business Development:

(Quality, environment and working environment) Engineers both in environment, quality and integrated management systems. Typical contracts may involve working with the management systems of customers, both with the development of new ones and working with existing systems.

Environmental technologies:

Environmental engineers with good knowledge of environmental impact assessment, LCA, product eco-efficiency, etc.. Work typically involves being located with the customer and on a contract basis.
