Technique, Strength, and conditioning

These three factors are the building blocks upon which every swimmer can be successful. However, there is a strict order in which these blocks must be stacked.

Elite Swimming believes firmly in individual attention and instruction. In order for athletes to commit to an intensive program, they must first understand the principle behind the hard work:

  1. Technique: This is the primary concern for every swimmer. One cannot expect to see progress if the hard work put into swimming is not founded upon sound stroke technique.
  2. Strength: Once proper technique is implemented, athletes must be shown the means for increasing flexibility and strength, both in and out of season.
  3. Conditioning: The final component is one of both mind and body. Conditioning includes not only work done in the pool, but dry land exercise, diet, and mental preparation for training and competition.

Creating a plan for success that can be used all year long!
