Student Conversion

Relevant Training/Discussion Highlights: / Cameron has been working on the errors from the extracts.
There were three additional Student extracts CU wanted to do. One was in scope and the other two are not currently but CU believes that they will be considered in scope. All three of these need to be mapped.
GAPs Identified:
Decisions Made: / Duane will send Dawne the mapping documents and she will fill these out and email back to Duane. He’ll go over them and contact her if he has any questions. They probably won’t have to meet with a WebEx.
Decisions Required: / Duane will be out of the office June 29 – July 3 so any mapping on these three additional tables will need to be completed June 15 week.

FI starts July 6. Extracts due July 2. Kelli Flynn for SGHE
ST starts July 6. Extracts due July 2. Duane for SGHE

Other Issues and Concerns: / Cameron is concerned about the master (PEBEMPL for HR and a couple of the AD tables not loading because of missing bio/demo data in general person table SPBPER. If we want to do additional loads to add missing records toSPBPERS, we could do this just the errors that are kicked out at any time. This is just for MISSING records; We cannot do any *updates* to records inserted with missing values. In other words, if the record is already there and is missing data (i.e. birthdates), it can not be rerun into SPBPERS. Cameron will have to do preventative measures and hope that none are kicked out by checking the extract data carefully before submitting the GP extracts (i.e., SPBPERS) June 26.
There will be pool codes in the finance extracts. Kelli will help fix the chart if things blow up.
Do we want to combine AR and 1098s into one extract file or two? Laurene doesn’t think it matters. They can be separate or together. It will be cleaner for CU to do them separately and will do it this way.

HR

Relevant Training/Discussion Highlights: / On NBRJOBS description field, Laurene is supposed to populate that.
On pulled positions, the FTE ends up being the total FTE on all of the positions. Kurt sent Laurene email on this.
Rate of pay. Someone said there was a patch for HR. Neither Laurene nor Chase have seen this.

DBA Tasks

Relevant Training/Discussion Highlights: / Laurene sent Chase an email of tasks. This will be Chase’s first clone of PPRD to CONV. He needs to remember to export the conversion schema data and structure and save that data before he makes the clone. He has to bring that data back into CONV after the clone. This is all in the email. This is very important. Our remote DBA has done this before and can help if needed. The conversion user passwords need to stay the same for CONV as well.
Why do we do the clone from PPRD to TRNG? So we can train the end users in this database and have our own rules there but you aren’t using real data and don’t have to worry about security.
After the conversion end date of July 17, SunGard will want to complete some follow-up tasks. Thesewill be completed shortly after July 17; The DBAs will be notified when the TEST clone should be recreated.
