Pre course work
On the third Friday before the course starts all those booked on the programme will be sent their joining instructions and pre course work by email. This will provide each attendee with two weeks in which to:
Receive the appropriate induction to their role
Complete the online learning programme
Have met with their line manager to set training objectives
If you return a booking form and do not receive the joining instruction and pre course work please contact the course administrator.
If your booking form is received during the two week period prior to the course start date, and we are able to accommodate your booking, you will immediately be sent the joining instructions and pre course work. If you do not receive the joining instructions and pre course work please contact the administration centre.
By signing and submitting this application form you are confirming that the attendee has received / will be receiving these briefings and will have completed the pre course work, before arriving at the course. If the pre course work is not completed to the required standard the participant will not be allowed to attend the course and full cancellation fees will apply.

Team Leader Training - Terms and Condiitons
- These terms and conditions apply to the named Prince’s Trust Delivery Partner or organisation detailed on this booking form.
- All details must be completed to make a firm booking.
- If courses become oversubscribed then priority will always be given to named Team Leaders and specified Team Start Dates. When places are available, Assistant Team Leaders, Basic Skills Support Workers and other bookings will be accommodated on the course. Delivery partners will be given notice of alteration to attendance on or before the latest booking date. Priority is not given on the basis of location.
- The course is residential and it is mandatory for Team Leaders to successfully complete all the course elements before leading a Team.
- Bookings on to courses must be made one month before the start date of the course. Bookings will be taken where a Team Leader appointment has yet to be made, but full details must be forwarded before the training course commences. Such bookings are subject to the usual cancellation policy outlined under point 7. Exceptionally late bookings will be considered subject to availability and on the attendee having met the pre course requirements. Late bookings may not be accommodated on site.
- Invoices (where applicable) will be issued on confirmation of a booking and are payable within 30 days.
- Cancellations, which must be in writing, will be subject to the following charges:
Cancellation more than 30 days before start of course – Nil cost
Cancellation between 30 and 15 days before start of course – 60% of cost
Cancellation between 14 and 2 days before start of course – 85% of cost
Cancellation less than 2 working days before start of course – 100% of cost
- If payment has not been received within 60 days of invoice, further bookings will not be accepted.
- The Delivery Partner/organisation will indemnify the Prince’s Trust fully in respect of any Liability (that is, any liability costs, losses, expenses or damages suffered or incurred by The Prince’s Trust, and all and any claims made against the Prince’s Trust) which arise as a result of any act or omission on the part of the Delivery Partner (including any non-compliance with health and safety legislation), except to the extent that such Liability is due to a negligent act or omission on the part of The Prince’s Trust.
- The Prince’s Trust acknowledges that it is responsible to each registered candidate for compliance with health and safety legislation during the delivery of the training course, but the Delivery Partner/organisation agrees that it will comply with all relevant requirements relating to health and safety, and that it will supply to The Prince’s Trust on request such information as may be required to enable The Prince’s Trust to fulfil its health and safety obligations.
The Prince’s Trust warrants that:
A) it will comply in all respects with the provisions of any statutes and any other obligations imposed by law or by any by-laws applicable to its obligations and/or the premises and equipment in connection with the training courses including all health and safety statutory requirements.
B) It holds and will maintain adequate third party and occupier’s liability insurance in connection with the delivery of the training courses by The Prince’s Trust and shall provide satisfactory evidence that it has complied with its obligations in this connection.
