Working with American consulate Peshawar. Transcribing and evaluating cassettes of radio stations wana and Miran shah.
Suggesting ways for improving and strengthening the role of radio stations in respective agencies. Also commenting on the cultural restrains on the radio stations and the possible future developments the radio stations can bring in the people of those areas.
Besides the cultural effects I evaluate the content and communicative standards of the broadcasts. Suggestions for new programs and methods of overcoming weaknesses are included as well.
Volunteer experience / Creating awareness among the women of south Waziristan agency, convincing them for coming ahead and working for a better life style.
Explaining the role and importance of lady health worker (L.H.Ws) for the female community of Waziristan, convincing few of the members for participating in such courses. Those females are now working as lady health workers.
Holding discussion sessions, guiding the averagely educated girls about possible ways helping and supporting younger girls in getting education. Also creating awareness about the financial and social benefits of Micro financing for the women of Waziristan agency.
A collaborative report about the condition of developmental projects in south Waziristan agency. The report contains comments on the ongoing developmental projects and the point of view of public about those projects.
Awards received / First division in student’s convention 2004. In the convention students from all over Pakistan were gathered to comment on major topics while representing their areas. I was representative of tribal areas (especially Waziristan agency) I was able to put forward the real culture and ideology of the tribal people, and the true nature of people of Waziristan.
