Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward Wedding Cake Terms of Agreement/Contract

• $500 retainer holds your date, this retainer is non-refundable and is applied to the wedding cake cost.

• A separate $100 non-refundable retainer, that is applied to the cost of the cake, is required for a grooms cake with a price exceeding $200.

• Balance(s) must be paid in full 12 weeks prior to wedding date.

• Once the final balance due is paid, 12 weeks prior to wedding date, no refunds will be made (as we have potentially turned away other brides for your date).

• Client will be responsible for providing: Flowers on/around cake, Cake Topper, Ribbons/Decor, Cake base/Stand, unless otherwise specified.

• Delivery and Set-up fees will be included in your final cake quote.

• Once a cake is delivered and set-up, Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward is no longer responsible for damage to the cake or shortage of cake caused by a guest, caterer, or any other person not employed by Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward. Examples that can damage a cake include (but not limited to) the cake being moved, table being bumped, cake being touched, temperature control, DJ speakers being too close. The Client is responsible for providing an appropriate, level and secure, table and environment for the cake(s).

• Client agrees that no other cakes, including (but not limited to) cupcakes and grooms cakes, will be served that are not prepared by Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward. This only applies to cakes, not other desserts, cookies or candies.

• Any bank fees, returned check charges, or other expenses incurred by Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward as a result of dishonored check will be reimbursed to Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward by the Client. If a check for a deposit is dishonored, payment of the entire balance will be required in cash or certified funds in order for Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward to proceed with the event. Such payment must be made within 5 days of Client being notified by Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward of the dishonored check, otherwise the event will be considered cancelled.

• Event is not considered booked until a retainer is received and a signed copy of this agreement is received by Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward. This document, plus the order forms with cake details, together constitutes the contractual agreement between Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward and the Client.

*By signing this agreement you give Tasteful Indulgence, Cake Art of Seward permission to use all photos taken (by Tasteful Indulgence) of cake/cakes and/or bride/groom photos on (but not limited to) social media, website and/or print publications.
