TARNISHED WINDMILL

Tarnished Windmill teaches a new technique that expands on traditional foundation paper piecing

using strip piecing to complete a lone star unit. This pattern has been designed using 3” strips.

I just finished making this quilt a few months ago. It is a very nice pattern that goes together

very nicely with NO “Y” seams. I hope you enjoy making this quilt as much as I did.

I strongly suggest that you do a color chart prior to class. I like to do my color chart on

separate paper from the pattern. You will refer to it many times during the construction

of the quilt.

If you are comfortable cutting a Judy Niemeyer pattern, go for it and go line by line. However,

if you are not comfortable cutting Tarnished Windmill; we can do it in class.

**Please have your papers and template layout sheets cut and placed in bags before class.

We will be arranging star units in the first class with the strips and papers.
