Reminder of Rules New from 2013

1.  Central Point of Contact – all teams must provide a point of contact as a back-up if there are difficulties contacting the competition entrants this can be the captain or any other nominated person

2.  Draws will be published on the web site and a timeline of deadlines will be published there will be now 2 deadlines first date to be played by and secondly date 1st contact must be made by if there is a problem accessing the draws then please contact me Draws will be made on the Deadline and published the next day

3.  Home Players will be required to contact the away player before the 1st contact deadline failure to do so will result in the loss of home advantage as the Away player becoming the Home player

4.  In Arranging Matches the Home player must give a reasonable choice of dates to the Away player 3 dates is usually the minimum

5.  If the Home player has not contacted the Away player by the 1st Contact Deadline then the Away Player must arrange the fixture to be played at his home venue IF NEITHER PLAYER ARRANGES THE FIXTURE BEFORE THE DRAW DEALINE BOTH WILL BE OUT OF THE NEXT ROUND

6.  If you have problems contacting the opposition player next contact should be the central point of contact for the team then the Competitions Secretary

7.  Extensions will only be granted if the Competitions Secretary has been contacted 1 week before the deadline

8.  In case of disputes the 1st call is the Competitions Secretary then the Committee if of sufficient seriousness if the dispute is about contacting then mobile phone call logs or text messages passed must be available for inspection

9.  Entry into the supplemental singles cup will be only for the those who went out in the prelimary or first round that have played their fixtures

Reminder From 2014

From last Season Failure to Play Matches without a valid reason for exception will result in a STRIKE several players have already earned one from last seasons you will be notified if you are affected by this 2 STRIKES will Result in a ban of 1 Year to clarify (done at EGM) you can earn a STRIKE in Each of the competitions and therefore earn both in one Year.

You are automatically placed in the draw for doubles and singles supplementary cups if you play your match and lose in the Prelimary or 1st Round of either of the main cups if you do not play this match in the sup cups you will still earn a STRIKE if for some reason you don’t want to enter the Sup Cups please indicate on the draw sheet otherwise you will be expected to play
