  5. Agreement with the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit #29 and the Tamaqua Area School District for an estimated IDEA allocation of $418,368.

  1. Affirmative Vote Resolution as presented.
  2. Request of Matt Hope, Tamaqua, for permission to use the triangular piece of property on Stadium Hill.
  3. Ratify the Superintendent’s approval for S.J. Thomas, Inc., Lansdowne, PA, 19050, for West Penn excavation, loading dock and asphalt, for not more than $106,372.
  4. Articles of Agreement for the establishment and operation of the Schuylkill County Area Vocational-Technical School, originally dated April 21, 1966, amended August 11, 1983, and further amended November 1, 2004, be further amended to add Article III as attached.
  5. Authorize the following donations:

Tamaqua Public Library $3,500

  1. Establish the school uniform stipend at $25.00 per student.
  2. Authorize Portnoff Law Associates to proceed through the sheriff’s sale process on the list of properties as presented.
  3. Award a three-year contract to Tamaqua Transfer and Recycling, Inc., for a total cost of $34,500 effective August 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020.
  4. Contract with CMS Medical Care for dental exams at a cost of $12 per exam.
  5. Contract with The Meadows Psychiatric Center for educational services.
  6. Contract with PA Treatment and Healing for educational services.
  7. Rate increase, reclassification of Michael Kunkel, from custodian to maintenance, at $.50 per hour increase.
