National Food Reference Laboratory has been established and dioxin analysis will be under the responsibility of this lab. Staff of Ankara Provincial Control Lab working on dioxin was transferred to the NFRL, however this request is made by the Ankara Provincial Control Laboratory which is not the responsible institution. On the other hand, the staff of the provincial control laboratory received training on dioxin analysis and had study visits under the MEDA project in 2005-2006. Additionally Ankara Provincial Control Laboratory implemented a bilateral project with the Dutch government, which included specifically several trainings and study visits on dioxin analysis.

Similarly the project on “Improvement of Statement Taking Methods and Techniques” has addressed, amongst others, the issue of statement taking with respect to human rights.
