TAC-COMM FIELD SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE – extensive travel
We are seeking US Military Veterans, National Guardsmen, Reservists, and Military Spouses to apply for Field Support Representative to provide support for TAC-COM equipment anywhere in the world.
Responsibilities
· Provide customers with the technical expertise and support customer TAC-COM equipment.
· Develop system solutions, demonstrations and training on radio and satellite products.
· Be/become proficient in the operation of customer TAC-COM equipment plus its interfacing devices and equipment including DoD satellite terminals, CISCO routers and other IP networked systems.
· Strong familiarization with military tactical communications is essential.
· Well versed in wireless networking with an understanding in tactical waveforms including SRW, WNW, MUOS and TSME.
· Connect back into the engineering organization to help solve customer technical issues.
· Keep engineering and business development informed of emerging customer requirements and technologies.
· Willingness to travel +65% is a must. Travel may be to anywhere in the world to support training users of our equipment.
Qualifications:
· HIGHLIGHT your status as US Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist, or Military Spouse.
· 5+ years’ experience with tactical communications equipment.
· A technical degree or associates business degree is desired.
· Strong consideration will be given to experienced military personnel with directly related, applicable skill sets in lieu of a technical degree.
· Junior engineers in directly aligned tactical communications companies with experience and a strong desire to transition to customer focused applications will also be considered.
· US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected may be subjected to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A current secret security clearance is desired.
· Also, must possess excellent communications skills; and have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· System integration, networked systems, operator training and technical troubleshooting is ideal.
