SWIMMING CARNIVAL– 2016

Dear parent/caregiver,

Participation in sport and school carnivals is a very important part of school life at CanterburyGirlsHigh School. During 2016 students are expected to participate in all three carnivals (Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics).

Students are required to make their own way to and from these venues. Students should please check with their Year Advisers if they are unsure of directions.

Swimming Carnival-will be held at Canterbury Aquatic Centre, Phillips Ave Canterbury on Friday 12thFebruary. The cost is included in the $25 Sport Levy to be paid by Wednesday 10thFebruary to Office C.

What to bring: - Wear House colours or themed costume (2016 theme is: THE TIME WARP).

-Swimming costume

-Hat and sunscreen

-Food and lots of water

Please do not bring crepe paper or coloured hair spray as the dye pollutes the water.

Students will need to meet outside the pool on the Tasker Park basketball courts by8:40am for roll call.

A text will be sent to families as soon as possible in the morning only if the carnival should be cancelled.
