Swim 4 AquAbility – A Fundraiser

What: This is a fundraiser swim-a-thon event for AquAbility.
AquAbility is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and Paralympic Sport Club committed to providing recreation through swimming for adults, veterans and youth with disabilities. AquAbility has year-round programs in Ketchum, Boise State University, and at the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind in Gooding. For many disabled people, swimming is the only activity they can do without any assistance. This is a priceless freedom!

Where: Zenergy Health Club & Spa
How: Swimmers raise money by collecting fixed amount pledges and swimming for 60 minutes. Swimmers may collect pledges from family, neighbors, friends or businesses, etc. Pledge money should be collected and turned in on the event day, but must be turned in by June 30 .

Who: Recreational swimmers, adult lap swimmers, children in swim lessons; swim team members, triathletes, master swimmers, and families are encouraged to swim to help raise funds for AquAbility programs. Swimmers may group together and swim as a relay if desired. Use it as your weekend workout and social event!

Details: Swims at Zenergy must be completed anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
**Swimmers not available to swim on June 22 may swim on their own anytime at any pool prior to June 30 and turn in pledge forms and sponsor money to the AquAbility office.
Swims may be individual or relays consisting of any number of people. Family relays encouraged.
Raffle tickets will be available for $5 each or 5 for $25 during the event. Raffles Prize Drawings will be held at 3:30 p.m. Additional Day Passes at Zenergy benefitting AquAbility are available for entrants or family members: $15/adults or $10/children 12 and under.
Register: Register on event day, $15.00 per swimmer. Registration includes T-shirt and 1 raffle ticket. Pledge form and money should be turned in at the registration table prior to your swim. Pledge money and pledge forms must be turned in by June 30. For local drop-off, please call AquAbility. Funds may also be mailed to:

Swim: Please park in lower or upper Zenergy lots, and use Zenergy’s Main Upper Entrance.
Check in poolside at registration table to turn in paperwork and receive lane assignment. We will share lanes as necessary. The Zenergy Poolside Cabana will be open during the event for your convenience.
