Supplementary Table 1. Characterization of the bioavailable metallic contamination in the six study sites. Mean accumulated concentrations of caged gammarids (transplanted for 7 days from one source population) are presented. Concentrations of metals, limits of quantifications (LQ) and threshold values (TV) of contamination are expressed in µg g-1 dw (dry weight). Detailed protocol and determination of TV are reported by Besse et al. (2013).
