TARGET AUDIENCE

This program is designed for ophthalmologists and ophthalmology residents in the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania areas.

NEEDS STATEMENT

The need for the conference was determined from examining the topics published in the recent scientific literature. Participants in the course will learn the most current concepts and practical tips for clinical practice in the following areas: Cataract, Cornea, Glaucoma, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Ocular Oncology, Oculoplastics, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Retinal Disease.

OBJECTIVES

As a result of attending this program, participants will learn to:

v  Manage basic cosmetic oculoplastic issues.

v  Diagnose and manage eyelid tumors.

v  Manage pediatric ophthalmic disorders better.

v  Manage thyroid eye disease.

v  Manage many different forms of glaucoma.

v  Select the proper refractive surgical procedures.

v  Recommend current dry and wet macular degeneration therapies.

v  Manage glaucoma surgical issues.

v  Select proper IOL’s for patients undergoing cataract surgery.

From New York and North:
Major interstate highways connect with the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 38 Atlantic City Expressway follow directly south towards Atlantic City, Caesars is located at the end of the AC Expressway- on the left side as you enter Atlantic City.
From Baltimore/Washington, D.C. and South:
Take 1-95 to the Walt Whitman Bridge (Philadelphia). N/S Freeway to the Atlantic City Expressway and follow direct to Atlantic City.
