Arrangements for any long distance travel to the town where the Court sits will be made by the Queensland Police Service.
Arrangements for your accommodation if you are necessarily absent overnight will be made by the Queensland Police Service (if you require it).
The Queensland Police Service will pay your entitlement to:
(1)  an allowance towards your loss of income (if applicable);
(2)  an accommodation allowance which includes meals when you are required to be absent from your home overnight (if applicable); and
(3)  a travelling allowance (if applicable) – namely public transport or equivalent cost.
The allowances payable are approved under administrative arrangement. Expenses which exceed this allowance are to be paid by you. The current rate payable can be obtained from http://www.police.qld.gov.au/services/forms/InfoWitness.htm
All enquiries regarding your transport, accommodation or the court proceedings should be directed to the investigating Police Officer.
