There are strictly no dogs allowed on the show groundthat means not in lorries or cars either. Anyone with a dog will not be admitted to the show ground. other than guide dogs

SUPREME RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP To take place on conclusion of all ridden classes. The Champion and Reserve Champion of

C4C5 will qualify for the Supreme Ridden Championship. Supreme Champion - . The Supreme & Reserve Supreme Ridden Champions will qualify for the REES FAMILY King of the Ring Finals 2017

Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However in order to qualify both owner and rider/exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 30th Aug – 2nd September 2017. Shows held on or after date of Championship Show will count as 2017 qualifiers. The following classes are CHAPS (UK) qualifiers:- Class 1-5, 11-13, 14-17, 20-27. For full rulings and information on competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS (UK) Members' Handbook or visit All stallions 4 years old and over entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK) and all stallions must wear Stallion ID Discs in the ring without exception. . ‘The Granger Show Team’ CHAPS (UK) Junior Ridden Pony of the Year (Class 24) & CHAPS (UK) Intermediate Rider of the Year (Class 25) Only the two highest placed from the Non-Native Section and the Native, Cob Traditional Section will qualify from class 24 and 25. Ladies Side Saddle Qualifier (Class 27) Only the top three from the rosette placings (who haven't already qualified) will qualify for the Championship Show. Riders/owners need not be a member nor their exhibit be registered with CHAPS at time of qualification, but in order to compete at the Championships, rider/owner must be a showing member and their horse/pony registered with CHAPS before entering. . SUPREME CHAMPION OF SHOW WILL BE HELD AFTER ALL CLASSES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED IN THE BEDWAS RING AND IS OPEN TO ALL CHAMPIONS AND RESERVES.

FOR SUPREMEA CASH PRIZE OF £20.00 WILL BE GIVEN TO THE WINNER AND £10.00 TO RESERVE as well as beautiful supreme and reserve ribbons.

RULES REGULATIONS AND CONDITION OF ENTRY

1. All horses and ponies must be 4 years old and over.

2. Correct British Standard Headgear up to the latest standard must be worn at all times when mounted with a three point harness.. Handlers under 14 years must wear correctly secured BSI Skull cap/Riding hats.

3. The judge’s decision is final.

4. Entry fees are not refundable . In the event of cancellation of the show prior to the day 50% of entries will be refunded. If the show has to be abandoned on the day, no entries will be refunded.

5. There are no dogs allowed on the show ground.Except guide dogs.

6. It is strongly recommended that all exhibitors carry adequate Public Liability Insurance. Sunnybank EC its employees or assistants do not accept any liability for any injury or damage sustained by any third party whether to horse/rider spectator or property whatsoever and how so ever caused.

7. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without any reason being given and if necessary to alter or cancel any class at anytime.

8. Any vehicles parked do so at their own risk.

9. Any pony stallion not exceeding 138cms may not be ridden by juniors who have not attained their 12th birthday by 1st January in the current year. Stallions exceeding 138cms may not be ridden by juniors who have not attained their 14th birthday by 1st January in the current year.

11.Show canes whips are not allowed to exceed 30” (75cms). In lead rein classes, plain or leather covered canes only maybe used.

12. Any objections must be received in writing within 10 minutes of the conclusion of the class together with a deposit of £30, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.

13. Sunnybank ec reserve the right to refuse entry if they see fit .

14.Anyone who brings a horse/pony to Sunnybank Ec that has been in contact or on a yard with horses that they know have any infectious or contagious diseases will be refused entry and banned for life.

15. Skipping out of lorries and trailers on the show ground is forbidden. Anyone caught will be fined, and banned

17. No lungeing is allowed in the collecting rings or covered warm up area.

19.Strictly no dogs except guide dogs.

20. Anyone found bringing a horse or pony to Sunnybank which has knowingly been in contact with any infectious or contagious diseases or have known diseases will be asked to leave and banned for life.
