Summer 2010 Calendar for Wreck Beach
June 17- Regularly-Scheduled WBPS Meeting-(Catch up on the latest news from and about Wreck which could impact our usage).6 – 7 p.m. Airport Square, Foot of Hudson, Suite 130-1200 W. 73rd
June 22- Vendors’ Meeting? To be Confirmed.
July 3- Beach Clean-Up # 2 (Noon-3:00 p.m.)
July 10- Guinness’ Book of World Records’ Simultaneous North American Skinnydip! Noon on the Nude Nose! It’s Hip to Skinnydip! You must Register from 9-11:45 a.m.! We must video tape and photograph per Guinness’ instructions. A registered Notary Public will be documenting (See Press Release). Copies of the 2009 skinny dip poster (11” X 17”) and Family Shot from Wreck Beach Day or any two combinations thereof will be available for $5. Take the Dare to go Bare challenge and then we’ll liberate the rest of Vancouver… in time! Let’s beat our own record of 489 participantsfrom last year!
- July 11- 31st Annual Wreck Beach Day to dovetail with The Naturist Society’s International Nude Week!
- Third Annual Body Acceptance Day (BAD!)
- (Try our Body Acceptance Machine (BAM)! )
- Anyone who enters the BAM clothed and comes out naked, gets a free Wreck Beach Passport to have various vendors and naked people sign. For example, a naked dancer can sign your naked dancing “visa,” and a naked musician can do the same for the naked musician “visa.”
Note: Wreck Beach Day always includes naked volleyball, a naked body-painting event, a naked sandcastle event (Categories this year include: Soccer; Climate Change; the Sea and Sea Fantasy;Imaginary Animals; and Naked Glories!); a naked Kite-Flying Event and a Naked Art Show if anyone enters his or her work (s)…

- The 14th Annual Wreck Beach Bare Buns Run and combined Buns Across the Border Run: August 8th – Register before July 15 online to ensure the size shirt you want! Same Day
Registration will start 9 a.m. for a PROMPT 11:00 a.m. start! Medals for all categories,
including the recent team category will be awarded so have fun with this one! Those persons who run in Fraternity Snoqualmie and Kaniksu Ranch’s runs will receive the three-way medals, very special ones indeed.

September 11- Blow Out Raffle Day for 2010-
Anyone wishing to donate services or items should contact Judy. Tix are $1 each or 10 for $5 . All proceeds go to keeping Wreck Beach in as nearly a nude and natural state as possible. Draw at 5 p.m.
