Job Title: Human Resources Sr. Generalist

Summary of duties and responsibilities:

Participates in a team environment providing human resources services to the organization including employment, recruiting, compensation, benefit administration, medical management, employee and labor relations, compliance, records management, and HR research, strategy and policy administration.

Essential duties and responsibilities: (Not all inclusive)

·  Develop and maintain organization staffing plan; attrition planning; succession planning

·  Interview job applicants: review application/resume, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications

·  Administer annual performance and development feedback procedures

·  Prepare reports and maintain internal equity within the organization through company salary structure, job documentation, and job evaluation systems

·  Responsible for ensuring new employees successfully complete new hire orientation and onboarding

·  Provide bi-weekly payroll support as the secondary processor

·  Oversee and coordinate with third party service provider employee referrals for medical management

·  Administer and explain benefits to employees, serve as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers

·  Work with managers to ensure enforcement of the Company’s progressive discipline policy

·  Prepare responses to unemployment compensation claims and represents the Company at unemployment hearings as needed

·  Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance

·  Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements

·  Administer employee relocations; track and audit payments to third-party relocation vendor

·  Develop and maintain written HR desk procedures

·  Coordinate employee service anniversary events and administer award program

·  Perform various administrative duties and assist with day-to-day operations in the HR department

·  Participate in strategic organizational decisions related to HR disciples

·  Identify compensation trends through industry benchmarking and analyzing market conditions

·  Process and record W2 non-cash fringe benefits tax liabilities

·  Regular attendance

Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field; PHR or SHRM- CP certification preferred

·  Five+ years of Human Resources Generalist work experience

·  Knowledge of human resource disciplines, knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws

·  Excellent communication and organizational skills

·  Strong problem solving and analytical skills

·  Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office programs and/or HRIS systems

Physical Environment/working conditions:

·  Normal office environment

·  Occasional climbing stairs, standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, and bending

·  Frequently reaching for and gripping objects.

·  Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
