Course Synopsis

For many of us life is full of things to do, people to see, responsibilities and chores. We can sometimes feel there’s not enough time or space in our lives for the people and things that really matter - including God. David Gamble uses New Testament stories to help us consider why and how we might make room for what really does matter.

REVD DAVID GAMBLE was President of the Methodist Conference for 2009/10 and is a former Chair of Barnardo’s. He served as a minister in two North Yorkshire Circuits, before moving to the Methodist Division of Education and Youth. In 1996 he became Secretary for Family and Personal Relationships and in 2003 Coordinating Secretary for Legal and Constitutional Practice. From 2012 to 2015 he was Chair of the Methodist Council. David co-wrote the York Course booklet Better Together?

The course CD is produced by Canon Simon Stanley.

CANON SIMON STANLEY is a Co-founder of York Courses, a Canon Emeritus of York Minster, and a former BBC producer/presenter. He has also written a booklet on the Sacraments.
