Gifts

(see other suggestions for wording on this page):

Celebrating this special occasion with us is the greatest gift we could receive. Just bring yourselves!

All that we ask from you is that you join us in celebrating our special day. However, if you decide on a gift, we would warmly welcome a contribution to our wishing well or a gift from our registry (details).

The best gift you can give us is your presence on our wedding day. However, if you wish to give us a gift, a contribution to our Honeymoon Wishing Well will help create memories that will last a lifetime. Alternatively, we have set up a registry at XXX (details).

A wedding list will be available at XXX under (name/s)

(website link, phone number).

Please do not feel obliged to buy us anything,we would just love you to be there.

Transport

Both (church) and (reception venue) are located in (XXX) and are approximately XX km apart. There are car parks located near both venues.

A bus/water taxi has been organised to take guests from the ceremony to the reception. Please let us know when you RSVP if you would like to use this service.

A bus will be provided to take guests to XXX for the ceremony and back to XXX afterwards for the reception. The bus will leave XXX at (time).

By Car: XXX is located... (give specific location, directions, timing, details of parking)

By Train/Bus/Ferry: (name specific stops and time taken)

Children

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is your opportunity for child-free time.

However, children are very welcome to our post-wedding function on (date).

In order to accommodate all of our family and friends we have only been able to extend invitations to the children of our immediate family. Please ask us for details of local babysitting services that can be used on the day of the wedding.

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to celebrate our big day with us.

Children are welcome at the ceremony, but due to (reception venue) restrictions, the reception is just for adults. Please let us know if you need recommendations for babysitting services.

No children under (specific age) by request.

Post-Wedding (BBQ, drinks, lunch etc)

There will be an informal get together on (date) from (time). Further details to be provided.

Please let us know when you RSVP if you will be attending the post-wedding function.
