Notice

Sealed quotations are invited for a voice recording system that can record 8 channels of voice simultaneously and can reproduce it truly. Each channel would facilitate to converse between two individuals (one examiner and the other candidate) through Head Phone/Mic sets.The recording system would at least have the following basic characteristics.

IISpecifications (please refer to the block diagram)

1.Head Phone set:

Single unit featuring Microphone and Head phone and terminating with a single chord that could be plugged onto a port (RCA type) on the mixer - 16 Units

2.Mixer:

Mixes the audio signal from two Headsets and send the signal to first port of the 8 port (channel) voice logger. Provision to work on 230 V AC or 24 V DC power supply. - 8 Units

3. 8 Channel Voice Logger:

It shall be able to log the audio and channelise it as eight streams ofdata so as facilitate the recording on the hard disk of a Laptop interfaced (with this voice logger), continuously, independently, and without interference or hum. A power back-up may be provided to the voice logger so that If power fails, the data remains safe. PC interface required preferably through a USB port.-One unit

4.Software

A software tool with a Graphical User Interface Unit (preferably under latest Windows environment) to be provided. Through the software it would be possible to monitor the audio channels, their play back, data back-up etc. The recorded data should be true to the original audio signal. Customization of the software, if required, to fit to the recording needs of WPC wing shall be done by the vendor without additional cost- One unit.

5.The system shall be installed tested and commissioned in Sanchar Bhawan, Delhi. The Laptop shall be provided by the Department for testing. Warranty on the system shall be at least for a period of one year.

Those quotations that are received late shall be rejected without intimation.

IV All the quotations shall be opened on 19th March,2010 at 1100 Hrs in Room No 610. , Sanchar Bhawan. All the applicants who submit the offers are requested to be present at the time of opening.

V The offers should be unambiguously stated in the quotation, both in Figures and Words. The taxes if any applicable should be clearly indicated.

VIOther terms and conditions shall be communicated in the acceptance offer of the quotation.
