To whom it may concern,

The GRC Institute would like to suggest the addition to Schedule 2 – Persons before whom a statutory declaration may be made to include: Part 2 – Other persons

Accredited member of the GRC Institute Incorporated.

On the basis that:

These professionals operate within organisations in the responsible roles of compliance and have the professional experience and knowledge to understand obligations, inclusive of those imposed by a Statutory Declaration.

Additionally, accredited members have undertaken one of a number of levels of our nationally recognised training successfully; have been peer reviewed by the GRCI Board; have agreed to uphold the GRCI Code of Ethics; and have made a commitment to continued professional development and currency of membership to GRCI.

All three levels of accreditation are registered as Certification marks with IP Australia and their requirements are public and able to be referenced.

Our members actively contribute to the positive and ethical culture within their organisations and set high standards for themselves professionally and personally.

I look forward to seeing their inclusion in Schedule 2 in the future.

Kind regards,

Compliance. Professional. Always.
