In Social Studies, students identified what Timbuktu was like long ago and today.

Students went to Media today.

In Math, students took their MAP-M test.

In Writing, students continued publishing their information books.

In Reading, students read about non-communicable diseases. Groups were assigned a non-communicable disease to read about and had to create a chart that they would use to teach their classmates. After groups shared their charts, we compared the text features that were used in today's article to yesterday's article.

In Writing, students continued publishing their information books.

In Reading, students read about communicable diseases. Groups were assigned a communicable disease to read about and had to create a chart that they would use to teach their classmates. Students created subtopics for their communicable disease on their chart. After groups shared their charts, we discussed what text features were helpful when reading about communicable diseases.
