A requirement of the course is to have access to a computer or laptop for online studies. Please ensure that you have, or can convert your file to Microsoft Office (at least Word) as our system supports Microsoft. Documents need to be saved as a “.doc” or “.xls”. Alternatively, you can utilise your local li9brary or community centre and hire reliable sources.

Webinars (live online classes)

To assist students, we offer online classes or Webinars. It is important that students attend and there is a separate booking process. This is a good opportunity to chat with your trainers, as well as get to know other students in your intake group. Benefits of the Webinars are as follows:

·  Information and tips on time management/due dates

·  Clarifying your understanding regarding knowledge and course content

·  Confidence, and students are not along

·  Gaining additional information

·  Chat room; able to ask specific questions to assist in assessments

·  Webinars are recorded via links on our website

Key dates

Each unit has a series of activities, questions and a project and due dates of these assessments are on the Student Timetable. The timeframe for subjects is generally over a four week period, except for “Undertake projects” which is six weeks and “Address Customer needs” is three weeks. Our expectation is that students plan, complete and submit their work in a timely manner.

Contact with your Trainer

Trainers will individually contact each student to assist with progress and any queries or issues you may be experiencing. Students will be booked into a 15 minute phone training session to cover questions for their assessments, ensuring timely submission. Contact can also be in touch (and we will be) via email, telephone or skype as we want to be in constant communication so that you can achieve your goal of achieving your Diploma. Please return all correspondence requested of you. Students are not alone and we also want to ensure that it is a fun and enjoyable process!
