Dear parents,

Art Club is an accelerated class offered by Mrs. Eremchuk (Mrs. E) on Tuesday mornings before school at 7:30am. It is a chance to expand the skills of young artists. Art Club is open to interested students who arefourth and fifth graders. To maintain quality of instruction, only 20 applicants will be selected to attend the group.

---Late applications cannot be accepted.

Art Club will begin on Tuesday, September 5th.

You will be informed by email of the application result. If your child is not invited to attend at this time, their name will be placed on a waiting list for future consideration. An email will be sent to you either inviting your child to attend, or thanking them for their interest and encouraging them to continue practicing and being creative. Invitation to the Art Club is based on a score of combined factors: student interest, parental consent, teacher recommendation, and an assessment of skill from the child’s art teacher. Such factors as motivation, responsibility, and behavior are considered as well as artistic ability. If your child would like to submit artwork done at home for consideration, you mayattach a sampleor photocopy of their work to this form.
