Deadline for applications for training funding extended

Research gathered by McAdam King Business Psychology demonstrates that staff training is a key factor in dealing with the current challenges that most business face.

We also recognise that training budgets are under pressure and therefore I thought that this funding opportunity could be of interest to you.

Flexible Training Opportunities is a programme operated by Skills Development Scotland to help Scottish businesses invest in learning and employee development, designed to accelerate the country’s economic recovery.

The scheme makes significant funding available to businesses with up to 150 employees and potentially covers up to half of the costs of staff training programmes

The deadline for applications for the scheme has recently been extended to March 2012.

Further details and an application form are available from www.skillsdevelopmentscotland.co.uk or by calling their helpline 0800 783 6000.

Businesses can apply for funding to support a wide range of training and development programmes.

McAdam King Business Psychology is a new division of McAdam King that specialises in analysing skills and behaviours using scientific evidence-based techniques.

Our team would be pleased to discuss what type of training could benefit your business and how we could possibly help you make use of this funding opportunity.
