The keynote presentation will identify the commonalities and differences in the financial cooperative sector in selected countries participating in the workshop.

10:30-12:00 Poster Session and Group Discussion

Each participating country would display posters highlighting the status, achievements, and issues in the financial cooperative sector in the participating countries. The participants will view the posters and then participate in a sub-group discussion. There will be six subgroups; two subgroups each will focus on one of the three themes of theworkshop, in addition to discussing other issues raised by the keynote presentation on Issues and Challenges and those presented in the posters.

This session will focus on the various institutional models of financial cooperatives and the associated governance, staffing, and operational systems.
