The global human trafficking prevention charity, STOP THE TRAFFIK has been chosen as the Financial Times Seasonal Appeal partner for 2015/16. Seizing this one-off opportunity to fundraise, and to optimise awareness of how we can all contribute to the prevention of people trafficking, is a priority for the charity.

STOP THE TRAFFIK is offering the right candidate the chance to take up a unique career-defining opportunity as the Financial Times Seasonal Appeal Intern on a voluntary basis. This position will provide hands-on experience of working in a fast-moving dynamic charity, with highly skilled, motivated and committed experts, on one of the UK’s best known corporate partnership annual appeals.

In addition to gaining an in-depth and practical insight to corporate fundraising practice, you will benefit from the following:

•STOP THE TRAFFIK will pay for your first Institute of Fundraising membership.

•Your supervision will be committed and hands-on: you will access a weekly mentoring session from an experienced fundraising consultant employed by STOP THE TRAFFIK who will be working beside you within the charity and on the Financial Times seasonal appeal.

•You will develop first class project management skills with an employment recommendation through evidence of successful delivery.

•London travel expenses will be paid.

The Financial Times Seasonal Appeal Internship will provide such a wealth of insight and charity experience, that effective delivery in the post will give you the opportunity topursue a corporate fundraising job upon completion.

In return for the above opportunities, STOP THE TRAFFIK is looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual, with outstanding interpersonal skills who can project-manage and co-ordinate multiple activities and events. Applicants will need to provide the following:

•A minimum of 3 days per week commitment (ideally 5 days per week) for a period of 6 months.

•Occasional weekend and evening working required to coincide with the appeal activity.

•A commitment to preventing and disrupting human trafficking.
