·  Sometimes a soldier had someone else carry it

·  In older times was made of wood, leather, metal

·  Today can be made of glass, plastic, other materials

·  Most cars have a type of this item

·  Loggers like to use this to protect their face and eyes

·  Welders must usually use one of these

·  Sometimes it covers your face, and other times your entire body

·  The Bible talks about it

Q: How does a shield protect us? [protects from flying objects; protects our eyes ]

Q: When a person has a shield, can they confidently accomplish a task, like sawing trees, even though it is difficult? [Yes, our eyes are protected so we can do the task]

Today we will find out about another kind of shield that the Bible talks about. It is the shield of faith. How can faith protect us and help us conquer the enemy? In what should we have faith? Listen carefully and we’ll find out.
