CONFESSION:Do not be afraid! If you have not been to confession for awhile, please consider it. You can come a half hour before Liturgy or make an appointment with me. Please do not stay away from this wonderful sacrament out of fear or embarrassment. Christ is waiting and ready to forgive you all your sins. You just need to accept the invitation. If you are a little unsure of how to make a confession-do not worry! I can help you through it.I, as a Priest, am so concerned about giving good spiritual advice to you in confession that I do not remember what was confessed 10 minutes after!! So do not worry about what I may think of you. The peace that results from a good confession is truly remarkable. I love you all! Thank you- Father Dennis.
Bishop’s Appeal:In the Gospel read for the Theophany, St. John the Forerunner testifies that he has seen the Christ, the Lamb of God, who has come to take away the sins of the world! How much our troubled world today needs Christ’s healing and salvation! It is through the Church that the Lord’s saving power continues to flow out to all who have faith. In this new year of grace, your generous gift to the Bishop’s Appeal, will enable our Melkite Church to touch the lives of so many, bringing the message of salvation, faith, and a new life to our culture that struggles in the bondage of a fallen world. If you have not already sent your gift, please consider doing so. Please contact Father Dennis, if you need a donation form and mailing address.
