2. Guest Speaker / Ed Watson gave an interesting presentation on replacing the rear plastic window in the modern TF soft top with a new glass rear window. The kit was sourced in England and cost £250. The glass screen is slightly smaller than the original plastic screen to allow it to sit flat on the rear storage shelf when the soft top is folded away. Ed also spoke on replacing his rear Hydrogas suspension with coil over shock's suspension. The replacement rear shock kit cost $1,760.
3. Confirm Minutes / Minutes of the meeting of 13 October 2016 will be posted for review at next meeting and on the club website.
4. Matters Arising / ·  GW spoke about the work that has been underway for some time to amend By-law 12 that deals with the conduct of our Display Days. KB spoke in detail of the proposed amendments to introduce the Pride of Ownership. The proposed amendments to By-law 12 were unanimously accepted by the meeting.
·  KB also spoke on proposed changes to By-law 5 that deals with Club Trophies and Awards. The criteria for awarding the Magic Midget Cup (donated by Peter Daley and with his agreement) is to be slightly modified to include voting by the public. Also, The Historic Trophy (a poster) is to be replaced with the new Brian Darke Trophy and given a slight change of focus from sporting to the use of an older MG in all Club events. The new trophy was first awarded to Peter Dechaineux in 2016. The meeting accepted the proposed By-law changes.
·  Trevor Finklaire advised the meeting that Tony McGloughlin has received a clear bill of health and should soon be back and active in the Club.
5. President / GW spoke to a number of items:
·  The Club has no Secretary or Social Coordinator at present. Having a Secretary is essential for the Club to function. Without a Social Coordinator the many social outings and runs will also cease. GW encouraged members to consider assisting the Club by volunteering for this position.

·  The Club will be joining the Jaguar Drivers Club on a run to Braidwood on 26 Nov, meeting at the car park at the end of Gibraltar Street for a 9:30 departure. Spaces are limited for the display but all are welcome.
