Summer Swimming Lessons 2018

Registration:

●On-line registration will open on Monday, May 7th (

oYou will have to create a login ID and password

oIf you registered last year you can use the same ID and password.

oThe swim lessons will be located under camps- highlighted in blue

oRegistration will close as soon as classes reach capacity

oWe will do a check-in as the kids enter the locker rooms

●There will be a sign up at Stagg (enter at the S3 doors) on the 1st day of each session as well.

Class Days and Times:

2 – 2 week sessions, Mon.-Thur. (June 4th – June 14th, and June 18th – June 28th)

●9-9:40, 10-10:40, and 11-11:40

●8 total sessions to attend

●Swimmers may only attend the lesson for which they are enrolled

●Please arrive 10 minutes before lesson begins

●11100 Roberts Road (use south entrance near football field) S3 doors

●There are no make-up lessons for missed class

Enrollment:

●Enrollment limited to children aged 4-13

●Any swimmer who is not of age may be dropped from lessons

●There is a fee for dropping the class once registered.

Cost Per Swimmer:

●$70.00 per 2 week session

Teaching Methods:

●Swimmers will be placed into small groups according to their ability

●Groups typically are made up of fewer than 4 children per teacher

●Swimmers advance through 4 levels of instruction at their own rate of learning

●Skills test at each level before advancement

Class Capacity:

●To ensure swimmer safety and small groups, each class will be capped at 70

swimmers.
