Staff of P.S. Rani Bagh has arrested two bootleggers and recovered 36 boxes of illicit liquor. This liquor was being transported in a Bajaj three-wheeler (Goods carrier) vehicle.

INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST

On the intervening night of 1/2.09.12, HC Sunil No. 1633/NW along with Ct. Satbir No. 1390/NW conducted vehicle checking on Road No. 43 by putting barricades, after receiving specific information regarding transportation of illicit liquor in a Bajaj Goods carrier three-wheeler. At about 10.45 AM, they intercepted one Bajaj Goods carrier three-wheeler No. DL-1LJ-8591 coming from Britania Chowk side. This vehicle was being driven by accused Rajnesh Kumar accompanied by Rahul aforementioned. On checking the vehicle, 36 boxes of illicit liquor were found loaded in it. Out of these 36 boxes, 25 boxes of country liquor ‘Raseela Santara’ make and rest of 11 boxes of ‘Party special Whiskey-A’ make. All the recovered liquor was not for sale in Delhi. A case vide FIR No. 285/12 u/s 33(A) 58(D) Delhi Excise Act has been registered at PS Rani Bagh in this regard and recovered illicit liquor alongwith vehicle has been seized. Both the accused persons arrested in the case.

INTERROGATION:

During sustained interrogation it was revealed that the accused persons were bringing this liquor from Singhu Border and it was to be unloaded in Mangol Puri area. Seized Bajaj Goods carrier three-wheeler belongs to Rajnesh Kumar. He alongwith his accomplice were carrying this consignment to one Arjun to deliver the same. They were given the task of supplying this liquor from Haryana border to Rohini by a person namely Arjun whose address is not known to him.

PROFILE

Accused Rajnesh Kumar drives his Mahindra Champion as public carrier while Rahul is not having any steady source of income.

RECOVERY:

36 boxes of illicit liquor and one Bajaj Goods carrier three-wheeler.

INCIDENT

In the intervening night of 2-3 September, 2012 a secret information regarding gambling in the park of Samrat Cinema, Shakurpar, Delhi was received at Police Station Subhash Place. SI Radheyshaym along with Ct. Sheo Kikshan No. 2562/NW were deputed for conducting enquiry regarding this information. Wherein SI Radhey Shaym along with Ct rushed at park situated near Samrat Cinema, Shakurpur, Delhi where 6 persons as mentioned above were gambling. An amount of cash Rs.18,800, along with playing cards were recovered from the spot from the possession of the offenders. All of the 6 persons named as above were arrested after registration of a case vide FIR No. 342/12 Dated 2/9/2012 u/s 12/09/55 The Public Gambling Act, 1955 P.S. Subhash Place, Delhi.

With the arrest of (1) Manoj, aged about 19 years s/o Roshan Lal r/o Kuber Enclave, Power house Bahadur Garh (Haryana) and (2) Parvesh Shrama, aged about 20 years s/o Rakesh Sharma r/o 786, Vikas Nagar, Gali No. 8, Bahadur Garh (Haryana), Central District Police has worked out a burglary case registered at PS Sec-5, Gurgoan Haryana Vide FIR no. 253/12 u/s 457/380 IPC.

132 mobile phones of various branded companies and 25 mobile accessories (Ear phones, chargers, covers etc.) were recovered from their possession.

INCIDENT

On 02-09-2012, at about 4:00 p.m., the police party was on patrolling duty in the area of P.S. Karol Bagh, Delhi. A secret information was received that two boys would come at Gaffar Market, Karol Bagh to dispose off the stolen mobiles. On receipt of this information, a team was constituted under the close supervision of Ms. Vijayanta Arya, ACP/Karol Bagh and Inspr. Ram Mehar, SHO/Karol Bagh and a trap was laid near Gaffar Market, Karol Bagh, Delhi. At about 5:00 p.m., two boys came at Gaffar Market and on pointing out of the informer, they were apprehended by the police team. On the search of their bags, 132 mobile phones and 25 mobile accessories (Ear phone, chargers, covers etc. ) were recovered from their possession. The accused persons were arrested u/s 41.1(D) Cr.P.C.

INVESTIGATION

On sustained interrogation, the accused persons revealed their identity as Manoj s/o Roshan Lal r/o Kuber Enclave, Power house Bahadur Garh (Haryana) and Parvesh Shrama s/o Rakesh Sharma r/o 786, Vikas Nagar, Gali No. 8, Bahadur Garh (Haryana). The accused persons disclosed that they along with their two accomplices had committed a burglary at Daksh Telecom Centre, situated at Bhimgarh Kheri Gurgaon (Haryana) in the area of P.S. Old Sector 5, Gurgaon (Haryana). A case was registered vide FIR No. 253/12 u/s 457/380 IPC P. S. Old Sector 5, Gurgaon (Haryana) in this regard. Gurgaon Police has been informed about their arrest.

Further investigation / interrogation is in progress.

INCIDENT

On 02.09.2012 at 8.52 PM, a Police team of PS Nihal Vihar was conducting vehicle checking at Vikaspuri, Ganda Nala near police booth Chander Vihar Delhi. During vehicle checking a secret informer met SI Prem Raj and informed that one person aged about 30-35 will come towards Vikaspuri on his Pulsar Black colour motor cycle and will be carrying illegal Smack. On receipt of information, a police team comprising of SI Prem Raj, SI Dinesh Chandera, HC Dhanna Lal, HC Jag Mohan, HC Vijender, HC Iswar, Ct. Anil, Ct. Bahadur, Ct. Rajesh and Ct. Om Prakash laid a trap under the leadership of Inspr. Sunil Kumar to nab the accused. During vehicle checking a boy aged about 30 years. was seen coming on pulsar motor cycle. On the indication of informer, the person was overpowered by the police team. On searching 100 grams Smack was recovered from his possession.

INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION

During the course of interrogation the accused disclosed that he has snatched three chains from the area of PS Hari Nagar alongwith his associates Monu. Further efforts are being made to arrest his associate Monu.

GANG OF SNATCHERS BUSTED

With the arrest of 4 snatchers and apprehension of 2 Juveniles by the officers and staff of PS Mayapuri a gang of snatchers headed by Vansh Pal which was highly active has been busted.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED/CCL ARRESTED AND APPREHENDED

Vansh Pal @ Kashish @ Kake S/o Kapil Kumar Pal R/o D-43, JJ Colony, Inderpuri, Delhi, (19 yrs.), education-8th class, is a school drop out.

  1. Nikhil S/o Sh. Udayveer Singh R/o F-119, DTC Colony, Shadipur Depot, Delhi, (19 yrs.), studying in class-12th. His father is serving in DTC.
  2. Rakesh S/o Dharm Pal r/o D-58, DTC Colony, Shadipur Depot, Delhi, (19 yrs.), education-8th, presently as supervisor in a company’s canteen namely Healthy Treat at Udhyog Vihar Ph-I, Gurgaon.
  3. Lakshya Jain s/o Sh. Narender Jain r/o R-29, Inderpuri, Delhi, (19 yrs.), education-12th. His father is a garments exporter having his own units at Udhyog Vihar, Gurgaon and also at Inderpuri.

RECOVERY MADE

A Total No. 6 snatched mobile phones and one stolen Motor Cycle No. DL 11SB 4321, Hero Honda, Hunk, stolen vide FIR No.194/12 u/s 379 IPC PS Patel Nagar.

INCIDENT AND TEAM

There had been incidents of snatchings of mobile phones etc in the recent past in and around the area of PS Maya Puri. For the purpose of prevention and detection of such crime, special teams of 3 police personnel each were formed, who would patrol in the crime prone area/spots during the crime prone time to keep a strict watch on such incidents. On 31.08.2012 one such team comprising of Ct. Raj Singh No. 3015/W, Ct. Prakash Chandra No. 2788/W and Ct. Pradeep No. 1258/W were patrolling in the area of PS Maya Puri near Golden Gate Banquet Hall. At around 8 PM , the trio heard the noise of skidding of a motor cycle on the main Mayapuri road going towards Ring road, opposite Golden Gate Banquet Hall and they noticed that a motor cycle was lying on the road side and two persons were scuffling with each other. The three immediately responded to the situation and reach to the spot. In a quick check they could make out that one among them is a snatcher and another is victim. Since both were injured hence they were immediately taken to DDUHospital. On making inquiry from the victim namely Ashok Kumar s/o Sh. Dharam Pal Singh, r/o WZ-27, Rajiv Nagar, Begumpur, Delhi-86, it was found that there were six snatchers on three motor bikes and they snatched away seven mobile phones from the victim. On making search of the apprehended snatcher namely Lakshya Jain, one snatched mobile phone was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 117/12 u/s 356/379/ 411/337/34 IPC was got registered and immediately a team under the supervision of Inspr. R. N. Choudhary, Inspr./ Investigation Mayapuri was constituted and a raiding team headed by SI Ashish Kumar, HC Bijendra Rana No. 151/W, HC Suresh No. 144/W, HC Virender No. 1232/W, Ct. Raj Singh No. 3015/W, Ct. Prakash Chandra No. 2788/W and Ct. Pradeep No. 1258/W was sent to nab the other five snatchers. Due to the fast and effective striking action of raiding team the remaining five snatchers were arrested before dawn and five mobile phones were recovered from their possession. On further verification the Motor cycle No. DL 11SB 4321, Hero Honda Hunk, used by the snatchers was found to be stolen from the area of PS Patel Nagar vide FIR No. 194/12, u/s 379 IPC.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

During interrogation of all the six snatchers, it was found that the present snatcher gang was headed by Vansh Pal @ Kashish @ Kake. He is a basic resident of Inderpuri area. He studied up to class 8th and is a school drop out. He hails from a poor back ground. His father sells garments on the road side pavement of Inderpuri. Since about two years he was active. Initially he was doing petty snatching of money and mobile phones of poors and road side walkers. Later he formed a gang comprising Bangru and Gaurav as his associates. This gang at first used to steal motor bikes and on the same motor bikes they used to snatch gold chains, mobile phones etc. of the pedestrians in busy market area and at the road sides. On 24.07.12 all the three were arrested in case FIR No. 118/12, u/s 356/379/411/34 IPC at PS Naraina. On 01.08.12 accused Vansh Pal was released from Tihar Jail on bail. Thereafter again he lured the young boys of his area namely Nikhil, Rakesh, Lakshya and two Juveniles and formed a gang. The gang again started the snatching crime on the roads and streets of Delhi. But due to their bad luck and effective presence of the staff of PS Mayapuri all of them were caught. The other gang members are below twenty years of age. In that three of them are still studying and two are engaged in private services.

AN INTERSTATE GANG OF FRAUDSTERS BUSTED!

FOUR DESPERADOS NABBED & RECOVERED CHEATED CONSIGNMENTOF MENTHOL COSTING OF RS. 15 LAKHS (APPROX.)!

With the arrest of four desperate gansters namely 1. Avdhesh Singh @ Amit Singh @ Ranjit Singh S/o Sh. Tirpat Singh R/o Village & Post Sardar Nagar Laxmi Pur, P.S. Barari via Guru Bazar, Distt. Katihar (Bihar) aged 28 years, 2. Punit Bhatia S/o Sh. Kishan Bhatia R/o F-17/103, Sector-8, Rohini, New Delhi aged 24 years, 3. Ghanshyam Singh S/o Sh. Parmal Singh R/o 242, Hallu Bazar, Purani Anaj Mandi, Distt. Bhiwani (HR) aged 42 years and 4. Dalip S/o Late Ghanshyam R/o C-2/109, Ashok Vihar Phase-II, New Delhi aged 42 years, the Kalkaji Police of South District have busted a gang of desperate and notorious fraudsters, indulging in numerous cases of cheating.

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CASE:

A complaint of Sh. Vinay Kumar Gupta S/o Late Sh. Raja Ram Gupta of M/s R.K. Industries B-18, Industrial Estate, Bajpur Road, Kashipur (Uttaranchal) was received at PP Nehru Place for taking legal action under the provisions of cheating and fraud. As per the complainant, he is in the business of manufacturing of MENTHOL & PEPPERMINT at his above said firm. He supplied a consignment of Menthol weighing 2000 kgs. (80 Drums x 25 kg net each contains) costing of Rs. 62,62,00,000/- to a firm viz. M/s Durga Industries having their office at LG-23, International Trade Tower, Nehru Place, New Delhi against Bill No. 010 dated 19.04.2012. The consignment reached at its destination i.e. at Chabra Bhawan, near Nirankari Bhawan, Kalkaji, New Delhi, but due to shortage of space the goods were delivered at 47, Jamrood Pur, G.K.-I, New Delhi on 20.04.2012. A cheque of Rs. 62,62,00,000/- drawn on ING Vyasa Bank, East of Kailash Branch was received from them against the said delivery of consignment, but the said cheque was returned as dishonored. Thereafter, the alleged firm winded up and went undergone with the sole intension to cheat the complainant. After preliminary enquiry, the above mentioned case was registered and the investigation was taken up.

INVESTIGATION & TEAM:

Keeping in view the gravity of case, Insp. Brijinder Singh SHO/Kalkaji constituted three separate teams headed by SI Rajeev Kumar I/C PP Nehru Place, SI Anupam Bhushan and SI Gajender Yadav respectively,consistingof HC Bhagwan Singh, HC Krishan Pal, HC Harish Kumar, Ct. Kundan, Ct. Lalit and Ct. Nagender Kumar, under overall supervision of Sh. Rajeev Sharma ACP/Kalkaji. Each team member had been assigned specific tasks to be performed for working upon the instant case. Besides, sources have also been deployed to collect intelligence about the culprits, involved in the entire scenario as well as about the cheated goods. Apart from the above, all relevant documents, pertaining to the case have been collected from all concerned and taken on record to prove the allegations.

On 28.08.2012, a secret information was received that one Avdhesh Singh @ Amit Singh @ Ranjit Singh, who is actively involved in the instant case, would visit ING Vyasa Bank, Nehru Place Branch in the afternoon. Receiving the instant tip-off, the above said team laid down a trap and covered the entire Nehru Place complex, which has emerged as renowned business hub in the present scenario, and thus, movements of thousands of people can be seen all along the day. At around 2.00 p.m., a person under the guise of a sikh boy, was seen stepping ahead from Satyam Cinema towards the complex. On identification of the secret informer, he was challenged to stop for enquiry, but instead, he started running and soonafter he disappeared taking advantage of heavy crowd of passersby/visitors present in the complex. However, the above dedicated, alert and attentive team members, had carried out an elaborate combing operation in a swift flow of action and after strenuous and sincere efforts for about half an hour, he was apprehended. Initially, he kept on dodging and misguiding the police on many fronts, but on cross questioning, he confessed to have been involved in the havoc played by their gang to cheat the complainant to the tune of Rs. 62.62 lakhs. He was accordingly arrested in the instant case and duly interrogated at length.
