Staff Meal and Milk Ticket Purchasing

  1. Purpose

To establish a procedure for the purchasing of staff meal, salad bar, and milk tickets.

  1. Need

To ensure uniform procedures in the purchasing and use of staff meal, salad bar and milk tickets.

  1. Procedures

All staff wanting to eat the meal provided by the student nutrition department must purchase a meal ticket. Milk tickets and salad bar tickets are also available for purchase.

MSAD Procedure:

  1. Individual meal, salad bar and milk tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased from the dorm director, superintendent’s office at MSAD or the main school office.
  2. Staff must sign up for a specific meal or salad bar at least 24 hours in advance. Sign-up sheets are posted in the Rodman Hall dining room. Staff do not need to sign-up to use milk tickets.
  3. One meal ticket includes one serving of each menu item, one milk, and one pass of the salad bar if it is offered at that meal.
  4. One salad bar ticket includes one pass of the salad bar. Salad bar tickets do not include beverage. Salad bar is only offered when indicated on the menu.
  5. The meal, salad bar or milk ticket will be collected by a student nutrition staff before that staff leaves the tray line. Kitchen staff will not serve those without tickets.
  6. Menus are subject to change. Student nutrition will notify all staff as soon as possible of any menu change that is needed.
