The Plymouth County Board of Supervisors met in the Boardroom on December 5, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. All members were present. All votes following are aye unless otherwise indicated. Chairman Don Kass called the meeting to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Meis, to approve the December 5, 2017 agenda. Motion Carried.
Motion by Horton, seconded by Meis, to approve the minutes of the November 28, 2017 meeting. Motion Carried.
Motion by Loutsch, seconded by Anderson, to approve the payroll dated 11/17/17, 11/30/2017, 12/1/2017 and approve claims paid 12/5/17. Motion Carried.
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Meis, to approve the letter of support for the Source Water Protection Project by Kingsley. Motion Carried.
Motion by Loutsch, seconded by Horton, to approve a letter of recommendation to Iowa Department of Human Services for Sioux Rivers Regional MHDS to operate as a region with Plymouth and Sioux County for FY 2018-19.
Motion Carried.
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Meis, to approve the Hillview Second Addition in Section 7 of Hungerford Township.
Motion Carried.
Motion by Loutsch, seconded by Anderson, to set December 19, 2017 and January 2, 2018 as the public hearing dates for the reading of the amended ordinance for the addition of the Le Mars Airport Overlay Zoning district to the Plymouth County Zoning Ordinance. Motion Carried.
Rich Benson was present to request $28,000 of FY 2018-19 budget funds from Plymouth County for the Plymouth County Fair Board.
