EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Will take place each Tuesday from 10.30 - 11.30 a.m.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION:
Saturday after the Vigil Mass.

MASSES NEXT WEEKEND:
Saturday Vigil 6.00 p.m.& Sunday 10 a.m.

NEXT SUNDAY IS MISSION SUNDAY. A special collection will be taken up. Our prayers and donations help to spread the gospel in poor countries around the world. Please make cheques payable to St Mary’s Church. The money will be sent to ‘Missio Scotland’, the Church’s financial arm to the Missions.

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION: Children preparing for the Sacraments are welcome to come out each Sunday at Holy Communion and receive a blessing from the priest or from the Eucharistic Minister. Please cross your arms in front of your chest. This applies also to parents who are not receiving Communion.

YOUTH GROUP: Youth Group Halloween party is this Sunday, 16th October, 6.30-8.30pm, St Mary’s Church Hall. Come in Fancy Dress – most original costume wins a prize. £1 on the door to pay for snacks and juice.

NEW EVANGELISATION: Ron & Betty Bisset gave a summary talk to the Parish Pastoral Council at their meeting on 7th September. As a result, the Pastoral Council are happy to give Ron and Betty the go-ahead to offer a session on ‘New Evangelisation’ on Tuesday, 8th November in the Sacristy at 7.30 p.m. To prepare for this, Ron and Betty will give a talk at both Masses on Sunday, 30th October, offering their insights and inviting any who wish to come along to the sessions on 8th November.

BIBLE STUDY: SMITHSTONE HOUSE – We will be looking at the First & Second Letters of Peter during the Wednesday Bible Study Afternoons on October 26, November 2 & 9 from 2.00 – 4.00p.m. All are welcome.

ST MARY’S PRO-LIFE GROUP: Please join us forour Annual ‘A Light for a Life’ Mass to mark the 44th anniversary of the Abortion Act,on Thursday 27th October, at 7 p.m.
