Sixth Form Special Bus Passes

In order to encourage use of the special buses which serve our College and reduce traffic volume on the roads we have been working closely with Blackpool Borough Council. We are delighted to be able to offer students belonging to St Mary’s Sixth Form the possibility of purchasing special bus passes.

A pass will cost £146 for the school year. (Payment may be spread by five payments of £26 each month by standing order from October to February, with an initial payment with application form of £16). This cost would amount to 50.3p per journey if the service were used twice a day throughout the first five half terms, up to the start of May half term holiday. Any further use of the pass through and beyond the June exam season would effectively be free.

The pass is valid for the entire school year of its issue and can therefore be used during the exam season and up to the end of the summer term for Year 12.

The pass may only be used on the specified special bus service.

The pass may only be used by the named student whose photo is supplied with the application and copied onto the pass.

Replacement of a lost or stolen pass will incur an administration fee of £10.

Payment will be made to the bursar at St Mary’s CatholicCollege. The College will then forward the payments to Blackpool Borough Council.

Instructions: Visit click the Sixth Form Bus Pass link on the menu. From here download the application form in Microsoft Word format. Complete the form with your details and thensave it to your computer. Email the completed form, along with a digital passport-type photo also attached to. Print out the completed application form and also print out and complete the accompanying banker’s order (no photo is required with the printed application form). As soon as St Mary’s has received both online and paper forms, with the bankers order and £16 (cheque to St Mary’s Catholic College or cash), we will process your application and the pass should be very shortly be with you.
