9. Competition rules: / 4 athletes maximum per weight category
The tournament will be carried out in accordance with the IJF rules and regulations.
KO system with quarter final (last 8) repachage
The top 8 athletes will be seeded among the entered competitors according to the World Ranking List.
Rest of the draw- separation by nations.
10. Referees / All participating countries may enter 2 referees.
Referees must be IJF International or Continental.
The Referees Meeting will take place on December 2nd at14:00.
11. Visa / In order to ensure the smooth issuance of visas, each country/region is asked to contact the nearest Korean Embassy or Consulate for necessary paperwork and begin process 1 month prior to departure at the latest. The organizing committee will send the necessary document upon request, such as invitation letter. Information for the documentation must be provided without delay. Each country is also asked to pay attention to the validity of the passport for each participant. ( It must be valid for the re-entry into their own country)
12. Transportation / Each team should arrive at Seoul (Incheon Int’l airportor Gimpo Int’l airport). The organizer will arrange transportation between airport, official hotel and the sports hall.
13. Insurance / All participants are responsible for their own insurances as to personal injury, loss damage property, death etc. Korea Judo Association and the organizing committee will not be responsible whatsoever.
14. Judogi & Backnumber / All competitors must wear the white and blue judogi in accordance with the IJF regulations.
All competitors are obliged to have the official back number on the back of the judogi in accordance with IJF rules.
15. Coaching / Effective January 1, 2009, the IJF put into force a new policy for coaches at IJF events.
Code of behavior of coaches:
Coach is responsible for conduct of his or her athlete from entering the competition venue until leaving it, before and after each contest.
Coaching will be strictly limited to communication with athlete, tactical advises, encouragement, instructions in unexpected situations, as injury, ect.
Coach will remain sitting on his chair during the contest
Forbidden behavior of a coach:
-Any comments or criticizing of the referee verdicts.
-Demanding correction of the referees decisions
-Any abusive gestures toward referees, officials, or public
-Touching, hitting, kicking, ect. the advertising panels or any equipment
-Any kind of behavior showing disrespect to opponent, referees, officials, coaches of opponent, his own athlete, public, etc.
Dress code:
-Elimination rounds: national track suit with trousers reaching down to shoes.
-For the final block program (TV time): jacket suit with tie
Forbidden are at any time: shorter trousers, undressed upper body, any kind of head caps and cover, jeans, sweaters or similar sports not related dress, flip-flops.
Any coach who will infringe upon these rules will be disqualified from accompanying his athletes into competition zone and taking up coaches chair to the end of event (not only for a particular day).

17. Training camp / Training camp will take place on 5th (Sun)-7th (Tue), December after the KRA Korea World Cup.
