Facilities Rules, Guidelines and Expectations

These guidelines are in place so that campers can have the most fun possible, without fear of injury or danger and create safe environment.

Utilization rule: “You get it out, you put it back; you mess it up, you clean it up; you break it, you buy it; you abuse it, you lose it.”

Buildings and Property:

  1. Maximum overnight accommodations of 90 individuals (including all servants).
  2. 1 servant for every 10 campers. Each camper must have an assigned servant at all times.
  3. All servant must attend a mandatory instructional meeting at the beginning of the camp.
  4. Servants will need to be assigned to duties and responsibilities prior to camp start date.
  5. Any property damage will be charged to the camper, parent and/or sponsor. All repair costs associated with the damage is the sole responsibility of the camper, parent and/or sponsor.
  6. Nothing, including decorations, may be attached to the walls, ceiling or floor with tape, tacks, brads or nails, etc. All decorations must be on the tables or free standing.
  7. No food products, liquids or powders of any kind are allowed during games, gym or other activities.
  8. Only non-marking light colored sole tennis shoes are allowed in the gym and game rooms.
  9. Food, snacks, candy, gum etc. is only allowed in the Banquet Hall area.
  10. No food, snacks or candy of any kind is allowed in the Main Church Building, Sunday school building, Dorm areas, Gym, and Game rooms.
  11. Highest respect for all property and those around you.
  12. All building areas: Church, classrooms, hall, gym, bathrooms, and dorm rooms should be clean and tidy at all times.
  13. No unnecessary noise, running or horse-playing.
  14. All exterior building doors are to be locked at all times.
  15. Parents may visit only during scheduled game/free times.
  16. Appropriate language and attire at all times.
  17. No Heelys, cleats, etc. are allowed.
  18. Each person must bring twin sheet set, towels and toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, brush, etc.)

Gym and Game Room:

  1. All players are expected to adhere to Christian behavior at all times in observance of the sanctity of the place.
  2. Each player should make the safety of others as well as his/her safety as top priority.
  3. Enforcement of the rules is the sole responsibility of the assigned Court Coach.
  4. Use of inappropriate language is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Violators will be suspended from playing.
  5. Fighting of any kind is strictly prohibited and will result in a suspension from game times.
  6. TENNIS SHOES ONLY
  7. NO DRINKS OR FOOD
  8. No playing behind the curtains
  9. No sitting on window sills
  10. 2nd floor game room is for girls only
  11. NO SITTING ON GAME TABLES
  12. NO SLEVELESS SHIRTS, TANKS, MIDRIFFS, OR SPAGHETTI STRAPS
  13. NO SHORT SHORTS – SHORTS MUST BE TO THE KNEE
  14. NO TIGHT SHIRTS, PANTS OR SHORTS
  15. KEEP PANTS AND SHORTS PULLED UP
  16. NO WRITING ON THE BUTTOCKS OF CLOTHING
  17. No other shoes except tennis shoes are allowed.

Personal Conduct:

  1. Safety is first.
  2. Respect those around you, both other participants and servants/chaperones. No physical conflicts or fights.
  3. Respect for property.
  4. Appropriate language and attire at all times.
  5. Do not borrow from others without permission.
  6. Be a good sport.
  7. No one of the opposite gender will be allowed in the other gender’s designated dorm rooms for any reason whatsoever.
  8. Dorm rooms should be clean and tidy at all times.
  9. No unnecessary noise, running or horse-playing.
  10. Participants may not leave church grounds for any reason during camp without permission.

Please be advised that the following behaviors will detract from a positive camp experience: physical aggression, stealing, defiance in following instructions, and/or repeated incidents of inappropriate language and/or actions.

NOTE: Please leave valuables at home (rings, jewelry, electronics,etc.). The Church, servants and volunteers will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

THINGS NOT TO BRING:

Magazines, tape/CD’s / DVD players, video games, electronic games, cell phones, laptops, TV’s, firearms, fireworks, knives, cigarettes, t-shirts with worldly advertising or associations, or any other apparel that does not comply with modest Christian attire standards.
