SJ & IC 10TH GRADE CONFIRMATION CLASS: Your "Gifts of the Holy Spirit Retreat" will be held next Sunday, March 4th SJ & IC candidates should be in SJ Church social hall by 9:45 AM and will attend the 10 AM Mass. After Mass, a retreat will be held in the social hall ending at 2:30 PM. Lunch will be provided. No class for grade 10 students that day. Your sponsor does not need to be present at the Mass or retreat, but may attend if they like. The 10th graders will also be participating in the 10 AM Mass by being the readers, ushers and gift bearers.
JR. HIGH YOUTH DAY - SUNDAY, MARCH 18TH 11:30 AM at Bishop Carroll. Registration forms are being sent home with all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students this weekend. Additional forms are in the back of both Churches for any Home-schooled or Catholic School students. Please call/text Rhonda Smith 254-9939 with any questions. Please return form $5 registration fee by next Sunday, March 4th. This is a fun-filled, faith building day that the students will enjoy!
PIE SOCIAL sponsored by SJ Rosary Altar Society will be held Saturday, March 3rd, at 6 PM, (after Mass) in the SJ Church Social Hall. A few games of bingo will be played. $2 admission. Pie & refreshments served. All are welcome.
ST. MARY’S CEMETERY Assoc. will have a meeting on Tuesday, March 6th at 7 PM n Marian Hall.
VACATION BIBLE CAMP will be JUNE 18th – 22nd, at New Germany Grove. We will need someone this year to open and lock the hall every day and to pick up the trash, etc. Call Jessica Singer 244-2722 for more info or to volunteer.
SJ FINANCE COUNCIL will have a meeting on Thursday, March 1st at 7 PM in the social hall.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Wednesdays at IC at 7 PM and Fridays at SJ at 7 PM.
SQUARE DANCES will be held at New Germany Grove Hall on Saturday, March 3 and 17 from 7 to 10 PM. An $8 admission will cover dancing and refreshments. Music by Klassic Kountry. All are welcome!
COMMUNITY BOOK Club is Monday, February. 26thon “The Zookeeper’s Wife (K)”held at7 PM in Marian Hall.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The next Red Cross Blood Drive is Tuesday, March 13that New Germany Grove Hall.
FISH DINNER: The IC Rosary Altar Soc. will sponsor their Lenten Fish Fry Buffet every Friday during Lent at the Grove Hall from 4 to 7 PM. Cost of the Dinner: $10 Adults; $5 children; 3 years old & under no charge. Take outs are available until 6 PM; please call 495-4298. Help is most definitely needed to make this event a success. Call Mary Sue at
495-9426 or Margie 472-5616 if you can help in any way. Angel Food Cakes are needed. If anyone can donate, please drop the cakes off at the hall on Friday afternoons. Working here is a good way for CCD students to get service hours.
FOREST HILL MINISTERIUM will once again hold their Sunday Lenten Services during Lent. All services start at
7 PM with refreshments served after the service. The following is the schedule: Today, February 25th – St. MichaelUMC; March 4th – Mt. Hope UMC; March 11th - at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Summerhill; March 18 at Bethel-Salix UMC; March 25 at Elton UMC.
PRAYER DAY AND LUNCHEON for Widows and Widowers throughout our Diocese. Rememberingyour loved ones on Wednesday, March 21st at 11 AM with Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, with a luncheon to follow downstairs in Marian Hall. Reservations must be made by Thursday, March 15th by calling the Family Life Office at
814-886-5551. Please provide the name of your spouse when you register. At the request of the Family Life Office, we are delighted to sponsor this mass and luncheon again for all whose spouse has been called home to God. A $5 suggested donation can be given on the day of the event.
SJ & IC: Lent is a gracious time to “spring clean” our immortal souls through the gift and sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation. Please plan now to reserve time for an examination of conscience and confession.
SJ & IC: On April 5, 2018, our teen candidates for Confirmation will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Pray for them.
