All the Commissions reflected on an excerpt from Pope Francis' Joy of the Gospel. Discussion ensued.

Announcements: Deacon Guy was congratulated on the anniversary of his ordination as Deacon.

Each Commission was reminded by Hortense to review their work including goals and accomplishments. These reports should be submitted by Friday, June 19, 2015.

Commissions were reminded to review the Ministries Directory and provide updates to Michelle Gosom.

Discussion was held on new appointments to the Parish Council. Brad will continue on the Parish Council from the Administration Commission but one additional appointment is needed. Ron Delahoussaye was asked to serve in this capacity. He said he would consider it and let us know.

The Administration Commission discussed new appointments. It was felt that we need at least 2 more members on this Commission. Robert recommended George Pavlina. This name will be given to Hortense as a replacement. Robert expressed the thought that the Commission needed someone with a construction background. More thought will be given to additional names for service on the Administration Commission.

1.Wrap-up of Year

The Commission reviewed the document, "Fruits of Our Labors". This document will be provided to Father Bill, incoming Pastor at St. Jerome. The purpose of this action is to update the new Pastor on the work of each of the Commissions. The following suggestions were forthcoming:

Add Vision Statement

Add Goal for 2015-16 and 2016-17.

Add the number of parishioners using the e-giving program

Add a section on future projects planned for the parish

The group discussed the report submitted. Discussion ensued. The first item discussed was posting the offertory amounts. Discussion centered on posting a total of each Sunday's or each monthly's total. Posting the Financial Report to the Archdiocese did not seem like a good idea. However, some type of simplified annual report would be something that should be considered.

Time ran out for the rest of the agenda.
