Dear Year 6 Parents,
As part of our Confirmation preparation we have arranged a couple of visit. The first visit is a day retreat, hosted by Sister Valery and Sister Mary Henry, in the priory Convent on Tuesday 24th May.
The second visit is to AltonCastle on Wednesday 8th June. We will be leaving school at about 9.15am and returning by the end of the day.
For visits taking place on a school day:- It is necessary to ask for a voluntary contribution of £ 16.00 per child. This fee will go towards AltonCastle and the transport costs, there is no charge for the Convent Retreat. Please make payment via Parentpay by Friday 20th May 2016. There is no obligation to pay and no pupil will be omitted from the visit because they do not pay or do not pay in full. However, the visit cannot go ahead if the school does not receive sufficient parental contributions.
For both days children will require a packed lunch and drink on this day (which should not include glass bottles). If your child is currently having hot lunches a packed lunch can be provided for them from our caterers. If your child is currently on sandwiches we can provide them with a packed lunch at a cost of £2.25. Please complete the form below and return to school by Friday 20th May.
All children will need to wear casual clothes appropriate for the time of year and sensible shoes and socks for walking. They will also require a waterproof coat and a change of clothes. Your child will be expected to be sensible enough to wear any seatbelt provided until informed it may be released. Parents must inform school of any relevant medical or other needs prior to the trip.
