QUIZ NIGHT.The Mothers Union quiz night takes
place on Friday 6th October at 7.15pm with a light
supper and tea and coffee. You may also bring your
own drinks and glasses.Tickets £5 available from M.U. members. Proceeds for the M.U. Outreach Appeal.
MISSION COMMITTEE:Our governance structures have been simplified to two main committees - the PCC and the Mission Committee.
Confident Christians, growing churches and transformed communities are at the heart of our Diocesan vision.
If you are energetic, creative and interested in helping to take the Christian message into our parish, please consider whether you can serve on the Mission Committee.
There are 4 scheduled meetings each year (see the governance board for details), although there is flexibility to work around the needs of committee members.For more information please speak to Fr Paul or Matthew.
SOUTH KIRKLEES, JOINT DEANERY EVENT: takes place on Wednesday 4 October, 7.30pm (refreshments from 7pm) at All Hallows, Almondbury.Revd Canon Andrew Norman, the Diocesan Director of Ministry & Mission will be speaking about Developing Ministry and Mission in the Diocese.This is an open meeting.Please speak to Matthew or Malcolm for more information.
