Home School Agreement /
The Staff and Governors of the school will:
§  Provide a safe, happy, caring and purposeful environment for all children to work in.
§  Value all children as individuals and develop self esteem, good relationships and equal opportunities.
§  Encourage all children to achieve their very best personally, socially, morally and academically.
§  Encourage all children to achieve high standards of behaviour.
§  Ensure all children receive a broad, balanced and meaningful curriculum: learning is fun.
§  Be welcoming in order to ensure all children and parents feel involved with the school.
§  Keep parents informed about the children’s progress and provide information about school and activities going on.
§  Listen to any concerns or issues any child may have.
The Parents/Guardians will:
§  Ensure the children will arrive in time for the beginning of the school day.
§  Ensure that all children under the age of 8 are collected at the end of the school day. The school should be informed if normal arrangements are changed.
§  Bring the children to school dressed in school uniform and suitable footwear.
§  Support the children with reading and homework activities.
§  Support the school’s policies and guidelines on behaviour.
§  Attend parents’ evenings to discuss the children’s progress.
§  Inform the school of any concerns that may affect the behaviour and/or work of the children in school.
The child will:
§  Come to school each day and be on time for the register.
§  Follow instructions and keep the school rules.
§  Bring all my school equipment to school – bookbag, homework, PE kit – when it is needed.
§  Be smart in my school clothes and shoes.
§  Try my best with my learning and be proud of my achievements and those of others.
§  Be polite, helpful and kind to others.
§  Play safely and co-operate with others.
§  Take care of my own and others property.
§  Look after the school and its equipment.
§  Complete my homework activities as well as I can
§  Talk to my teacher or another adult in school if I have any worries.
