General Rules of Conduct

  1. Membership cards must be carried at all times while on the club premises.
  2. No minor member children are allowed on the grounds without a parent or guardian.
  3. The club combination must not be given to any non-members.
  4. The gate needs to be closed and locked when entering and exiting the club except during open club events.
  5. Club facilities can be used by a member’s immediate family (self, spouse, and minor children).
  6. The clubhouse is the only facility on the premises that can be reserved by a member. To reserve the clubhouse for personal use, a member must have a full year of membership on record and must present their request at the February planning meeting or a regularly scheduled board meeting in person. The ranges cannot be reserved for personal use.
  7. Each member is only allowed two non-member guests using club facilities at any one time.
  8. All children using the play area and/or equipment must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult.
  9. Dispose of all garbage in designated containers. Please keep our club grounds clean.
  10. Discard cigarette butts only in designated containers. If you are afield, pack them out or field strip them so they will bio-degrade.
  11. Anyone using the club is required to clean the club premises, secure club grounds & buildings, and leave the premises in a clean and orderly state. Garbage containers in the clubhouse must be emptied into the dumpster and the bag liner replaced. Do not put liners in the garbage cans on the ranges. Leave it better than you found it.
  12. No smoking or drinking alcohol during the General Membership/Board Meeting. No consumption of alcohol in excess on club property. Anyone who appears intoxicated or under the influence of unlawful substances will be required to leave.
  13. Campfires are permitted only in the designated fire ring areas and must be extinguished completely prior to being left unattended.
  14. Hunting the club property is a benefit of being a club member (spouse or minor child included). In order to do so, you must be a current member with at least 1 full year of membership on record.
  15. Hunting blinds or stands will not be permanently attached to trees. All blinds will not be put up more than two weeks prior to the hunting season and will be removed within two weeks after the close of the hunting season, whatever season it may be.
  16. All shooting range usage is governed by posted range rules and Michigan and Federal Laws.
  17. When the clubhouse is reserved, the ranges remain open. Any exception to this rule will be posted.
  18. ATV’s are to be used on club property only for working or hunting purposes. Any ATV’s are to be usedonlyby adult members.
  19. The furnace and cooking stove are only to be used for club functions or reservationsm.
  20. There is wood for the wood stove outside. If you start the stove, please make sure it’s out before you leave and the floor is cleaned up.
  21. Shut off all utilities & lights when you leave the clubhouse.
  22. Anyone caught stealing from, vandalizing or destroying club property will automatically face prosecution, restitution, and membership dismissal.
  23. Anyone using the club must obey the rules and by-laws established by the Board of Directors; failing to do so will result in membership dismissal. (Constitution and Bylaws, Article VII, Section 5, Paragraphs b & c)
