Nostromo has a new Sales and Marketing Director

Markéta Wernerová will now oversee Nostromo’s increasing international sales and marketing activities

Prague, May 26, 2008 – Nostromo, leading European supplier of video games and interactive entertainment software for mobile phones, has a new Sales and Marketing Director Markéta Wernerová. Nostromo has been recruiting new faces for its management team in response to the increased sales and growing demand for its products.

Ms. Wernerová’s primary responsibility will be to oversee Nostromo’s sales not only in the Czech Republic but also on a global level in all markets where Nostromo is active. Ms. Wernerová’s main marketing goal will be to create a new image for Nostromo and to promote the label. Markéta Wernerová previously worked for Telefónica O2 Czech Republic where she was in charge of the sales team in the department of mobile content development and was responsible, among other things, for the development of third party services such as PRSMS and Audiotex.

“Previously, I perceived Nostromo as a company with only local impact. However, I have been pleased to see it grow internationally and witness its success in all of Eastern and Middle Europe. I take Nostromo’s offer as a challenge,” says Ms. Wernerová, Nostromo’s new Sales and Marketing Director.

Markéta Wernerová graduated from FTK and Faculty of Science at Palacký University in Olomouc. She then worked as a Sales Manager in the M.I.A. internet solutions company, Czech Telecom’s subsidiary. She worked as a Content Development Manager in Telefónica O2 Czech Republic for several years before she went for her maternity leave at the end of 2006. In her free time she enjoys sports, travel and spending time with her family.

“I have known Ms. Wernerová since the beginning of her career at the telecommunications company we have worked with closely. We noticed her professional skills a long time ago and when the opportunity arose, we did not hesitate to offer her a job with our company,” says Petr Litoš, Nostromo’s Director. “I have no doubt that Ms. Wernerová will become a great asset in Nostromo’s growth as well as its sales and marketing activities.”
