Ephesians 6:10-13 (NKJV)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Introduction

  • Spiritual Warfare is Real…..
  • We can only be victorious when we are aware of the enemy and his strategies.
  • Today I want to talk about Six (6) areas or levels of Spiritual Warfare.
  1. Spiritual Warfare On The Global Level!
  2. Spiritual Warfare On The National Level!
  3. Spiritual Warfare On The Local Level!
  4. Spiritual Warfare In The Church!
  5. Spiritual Warfare In Our Families!
  6. Spiritual Warfare Inside Us Personally!
  1. Spiritual Warfare On The Global Level!
  1. There is a Big Picture to the issue of Spiritual Warfare
  2. Satan is not just out to destroy you and me but his ultimate plan is to

destroy the Kingdom of God.

  1. It began in the Garden of Eden – Cain killed Able because of the ‘blood covenant’ that Satan wanted to destroy….
  2. It continued with Moses – Who prompted Pharaoh to kill all the

male children of the Israelites?

  1. It continued with the birth of Jesus – Who prompted Herod to kill all the male children in Bethlehem and the surrounding area?
  2. It continued when Christ was hung on the cross – Who thought if Jesus could be killed it would end His chances of becoming King?
  1. Why is there unrest in the world today?
  2. Satan has power in the earth….

1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

News This Week – Man drove his car into a Taco Bell because he was missing ONE 95 cent taco! Police followed the ‘car fluids trail’ to his house to arrest him!

B. Crime, Drugs, Immorality, Perversion…

  1. Spiritual Warfare In The Church!
  1. Satan doesn’t have to send delegates into the church from the outside!
  1. He finds many willing vessels
  1. Lack of concern, unfaithfulness, selfishness, Failure to Stand for Beliefs, Rebellion, Lack of Prayer, Failure to Worship…
  1. Spiritual Warfare In Our Families!

A. Satan is out to destroy our families…

B. Arguments; No support of each other; Rebellion; Lying…

C. Unfaithfulness, Separation, and Divorce

  1. Spiritual Warfare Inside Us Personally!

A. The battle within is REAL!
