**Spelling Homework—

Mon. evening---Read all words and write words 5 times each. Make sure your name is on your homework paper and place in reading notebook.

Tues. evening or 1st school day evening after Jan. 6---Read all words, write each word 3 times each and write sentences with words #1-5 using correct capitalization, spelling, and punctuation. Make sure your name is on your homework paper and place in reading notebook.

Wed. evening or 2nd school day evening after Jan. 6---Read all words, write each word 3 times each and write sentences with words #6-10 using correct capitalization, spelling, and punctuation. Make sure your name is on your homework paper and place in reading notebook.

Thurs. evening or 3rd school day evening after Jan. 6---Read all words, have someone give you out the words while you take a practice test on notebook paper. Write any words missed 5 times each. Make sure your name is on your homework paper and place in reading notebook.

**Reading Homework—(if we are not in school on that day, that homework will be given on the next school day)

Mon. evening---Read worksheet 12-5 until fluent with your reading. Also, read and discuss the story, “Ed” until you are fluent and fully understand the story for a quiz tomorrow.

Tues. evening---Read worksheet 12-7 until fluent with your reading. Also, read and discuss the story, “The Shell Shop” until you are fluent and fully understand the story for a quiz tomorrow.

Wed. evening---Read and discuss the stories, “Could” and “Should” until you are fluent and fully understand the stories for quizzes tomorrow.

Thurs. evening---Read worksheet 12-15 until you are fluent with your reading. Also, read and discuss the story, “Would” until you are fluent and fully understand the story for a quiz tomorrow.

Fri. evening and weekend---Read worksheet 12-17, 18 until fluent and study Unit 12 Study Guide for test on the next school day.
