1.Mechanical Electro Magnetic Delayed Egress Locking DeviceMEM2400EXT-S with Early Warning Sounder Feature for Outward Opening Hinged Doors
“The Mechanical Electro Magnetic Retail-Loss-Prevention Locking Device is designed for outward opening hinged doors and must be equal to the FSH model
MEM2400EXT-S in all respects. The device must be provided with a 2-stage Delayed Egress function and fire tested up to a 4 hour fire resistance rating to both Australian and British Fire Test Standards.
The locking device must incorporate magnetic and mechanical design principles to achieve a holding strength of up to 680kg at a maximum size of 158mm in length, 35mm in height and 30mm in depth (extension158mm in length, 35 mm in height and 30 mm in depth ) to avoid interference with BCA door clearance regulations. It must be capable of accepting either 12 or 24VDC.
The device must provide an Anti Tamper Bracket to prevent hostile attacks on the fixing bolt (dome nut) of the armature plate. It also has to feature a long distance visibility indicator Light Panel (LP) to indicate the lock status. The product comes with a 5 year warranty
(1 year warranty for the electronic extension)
The locking device must also provide the following functions:
- Monitoring of the internal locking mechanism (Lock Status Sensor)
which monitors by hall effect sensor the locking device itself (locking pin engaged or disengaged).
- Monitoring of the door status (Door Status Sensor)
Which monitors the door position by magnetic reed switch within the
armature plate and locking device (door open or door dosed), providing switching of normally open dry contacts for remote alarm Indication
- EARLY WARNING Sounder(EW)
Sounder to trigger a local alarm on initial pressure being applied to the door
